JAY SHERER

WRITER / DIRECTOR / PRODUCER

Jay Sherer recently directed his first short film, No Vacancy (2024), but a majority of his career has been on the writing side. The script for No Vacancy earned five contest placements and rose (at its highest point) into the Top 8% on Coverfly. The script for The Harlequin, the film he's currently pitching, earned four contest placements and was (at its highest point) in the Top 11% of projects on Coverfly.

In addition to No Vacancy and The Harlequin, Jay has collaborated with Nathan Scheck to write two novels. Death of a Bounty Hunter was the #1 book/manuscript on Coverfly for the month of September in 2021. Jay and Nathan also turned their novel into a full-cast audiobook (directed by Jay) and a TV pilot.

Jay has additional scripts he would like to pitch as well. As of right now, Jay is not represented by an agent or manager, but is open to a new relationship.

NATHAN SCHECK

WRITER / PRODUCER / ART DIRECTOR

Nathan Scheck co-wrote No Vacancy, The Harlequin, Death of a Bounty Hunter, Star Wars: Rivals, and Timeslingers with Jay Sherer. He also serves as an art director on all their related projects. He designed (alongside comic book artist Malachi Ward) the poster for No Vacancy and served as a creative producer for the short film.

In addition to co-writing Death of a Bounty Hunter, Nathan designed a card game and an app as a marketing tool for the full-cast audiobook.
